Kitasando in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo for two days only, Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th, 2025. nomadic artisan is a fashion brand that specializes in one-of-a-kind items launched in Kenya in 2019, and releases collections each season using the traditional African fabric kitenge. In addition to selling collections, it is a pioneering brand of the so-called semi-custom style, where you can freely choose and order existing designs and African fabrics, and it is attracting attention for its functional and sophisticated designs and unique sales style. The brand is created by Ayumi Awil-Taki, a Japanese designer based in Nairobi, Kenya, and is part of ARTISAN COLLECTIVE, a designer duo with American designer Rayzak Awil, as well as Hayan Collection (menswear), My Little Samurai (My Little Samurai, baby and kids wear), and this pop-up shop will be held jointly by the three brands.
