In this third LCA analysis of emmi x PlaX(TM) products, a comparison was made focusing on the amount of CO2 emitted during the manufacturing process. It was revealed that CO2 emissions could be reduced by 15 to 17% per product between products manufactured in a normal factory and those manufactured in a “green factory” where 45% of the electricity required is covered by in-house solar power generation. “Traceability Project” to make the manufacturing process transparent To ensure that customers can choose products with confidence, Mash Style Lab is working to improve the transparency of the supply chain by carefully attending to each and every process leading up to the completion of the product.
