To celebrate this, a 100th anniversary event was held for the “Longines Spirit Zulu Time 1925”. Dean Fujioka, Atsuko Maeda, and Daiken Okudaira appeared at the event wearing the commemorative model and celebrated the 100th anniversary. Also on display at the event was the “Turkish Watch”, the world’s first practical pocket watch with a second time zone display, which was developed by Longines in 1908 and patented in 1911. This showcased the rich history and technology of measuring multiple time zones that has been passed down for over a century.

The matte black dial is contrasted with rose gold-colored hands and indexes with
Super-LumiNova(R) for high visibility. Five stars shine above the 6 o’clock position on the dial, and the date display and the words “1925 – 2025” celebrating the 100th anniversary are engraved in black tones. The see-through case back allows you to see the rose gold-colored rotor with a special engraving of a flat celestial sphere with the prime meridian running through its center. The rose gold is used this time as a homage to the “copper band showing the prime meridian” embedded in the ground of the Royal Observatory Greenwich, which was built 350 years ago. The commemorative model, a true GMT watch (※2), is equipped with Longines’ own caliber L844.4. It uses a silicon balance spring and innovative parts to achieve magnetic resistance that exceeds the ISO764 standard. It has a power reserve of
