The American outdoor brand MERRELL (distributor: Marubeni Consumer Brands Co., Ltd.), beloved in 160 countries around the world for its unique footwear that covers everything from the field to urban life, will release the “MTL LONG SKY 2 MATRYX(R) SP” as its second collaboration item with outdoor manufacturer Snow Peak Co., Ltd. The second collaboration model is the flagship line from “Merrell Test Lab.”*, which brings together MERRELL’s brand technology. We’re pleased to announce the release of the “MTL LONG SKY 2 MATRYX(R) SP,” a lightweight, highly functional trail running shoe in Snow Peak’s original colors. It delivers maximum performance in everything from outdoor activities to speed races and mid-distance trail races. Based on the sole unit of the all-around model “MTL LONG SKY 2,” which has grown into a staple since its release in 2022, the shoe features a highly durable MATRYX(R) upper [ TPU reinforcement]*2, allowing you to run on wet surfaces and rough field conditions without worrying about the durability of the upper. The shoe’s incredible lightness, breathability, and grip enable a more aggressive, aggressive run. The color scheme, which differs from the regular line, is an original Snow Peak color inspired by the charcoal of a campfire. In addition to black, the shoelaces also come in an original charcoal color. The Snow Peak logo is placed on the inside of the heel and insole, making this a special pair of shoes.
