Press Release: July 31, 2025 June 27th: “Real Madrid Chief Medical Advisor Niko Mihic visits our company” After giving a lecture at the Sports Doctors Network (SDN) held at Minamo Hall in the Gifu Prefectural Government Office on June 26th, Niko Mihic visited the Hasetora Spinning Company headquarters and factory the following day, on the 27th. On the day, in addition to Niko Mihic, SDN Conference members, including COO/Asia Representative Sakiko Yamada and Harvard Medical School Professor Alen Yuginovich, also visited the company. The conference on the 26th featured lectures brought together industry, government, and academia, focusing on the environment, women, food, medicine, and other areas, with the aim of utilizing world-class sports medicine knowledge to promote health. Our CEO, Kyoji Hase, gave a case study presentation titled “Changing the World with Materials: Collaboration between the Healthcare Industry and Overseas.” In the case study presentation, we provided a detailed explanation of the current state of the Japanese textile industry and the environmental issues facing fast fashion. We also explored the potential of leveraging the strengths of Japanese industry and introduced our group’s proprietary far-infrared material, “Photodenshi(R),” under the theme of “Changing the World with Materials.” Furthermore, in July of last year, Next Branders President Kuwahara, SDN member Allen Yuginovich, and Hasetora Spinning launched joint research into combining extra-long staple cotton with Photodenshi(R) to create the optimal material for sleep.
