Orange Press release: September 1, 2025 To Members of the Press A brand video has been released for “dadada,” a comfortable innerwear line designed specifically for men with sensitive skin and made specifically for T-shirts. The brand will be exhibiting at the Tokyo Gift Show. Orange Co., Ltd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku3TEDgO0wg Project Overview Orange, a sewing factory in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, is currently developing a prototype for “dadada,” a comfortable innerwear line designed specifically for T-shirts for men with sensitive skin, with an eye toward commercialization from spring 2026 onward. We recently shot a brand video in Amsterdam, Netherlands, featuring ballet dancer Victor Shinichiro Watanabe, originally from Wakayama Prefecture, and have released it on our official website and YouTube channel. Prototypes will be exhibited at the 100th Tokyo Gift Show, and will also be unveiled and tested at various exhibitions and talk sessions. The results will be used to inform future product development. Product development undertaken entirely by Wakayama With Orange at its core, dadada is a company whose fabric manufacturing, sewing, dyeing, detergent, packaging, and promotion are all handled by companies in Wakayama Prefecture. As a “Made in Wakayama” product brought together by the prefecture’s finest companies, we aim to develop the finest men’s underwear with an unwavering focus on quality. Ballet is a dance in which the variation in speed and speed of movement is extremely important. There are gentle steps and poses, as well as speedy jumps and spins. This adjustment of movement is what leads to the “optimization” of products that dadada aims for, and the video work superimposes the image of dadada onto ballet dance. The video also features Wakayama’s rich natural environment, such as its ocean and mountains. The ballet dancer featured in the video is also from Wakayama Prefecture, making it a place that evokes a “Wakayama connection.” We hope viewers can sense the presence of Wakayama, the “holy land of knitwear,” and the artisans who live there. The video was produced by Teppei Nakamoto (Vintheo Inc.), a young video creator from Wakayama.

He’s from Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture. He traveled to Europe alone as a high school student in 2022 and graduated from the Dutch National Ballet Academy in 2025. That same year, he passed the Grand Audition and began his professional career as a young Japanese samurai. He is scheduled to join the Bavarian State Ballet in Germany from the fall of 2025. ■Official Instagram
