As we celebrate 75 years since our founding, this feeling has become even stronger. With a simple and easy-to-read logotype in mind, we designed the logo mark with images of children’s smiles and Ikedaya School Bags’ distinctive Kabuse. ●Design points – Inspired by Ikedaya school bags, which are characterized by their simple construction, they have a rounded, friendly impression and a clean look We created a logotype (letter) based on the Tsukushi B round Gothic. ・To match the image of a light and sturdy school bag, we added space between each stroke of katakana to create a light image, while lowering the center of gravity for some letters to create a sense of stability. ・The dakuten (red part) of “ike” and “do” are inspired by Kabuse’s riveting rivets, and the red color was designed to be compatible with the tagline (red line) of the current corporate logo. ・The logo depicts the smiling faces of children and the design features of Ikedaya school bags, such as the cover seam and riveting studs.
