The light that has reached its limit will shorten the distance between them. McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, photographed and directed by Glenn Luchford, explores the bold and unrelenting spirit of the banshee from rural Irish folklore. It is rooted in McQueen’s history and creative director Sean McGeer’s Irish heritage. “Banshee was a very present figure in my childhood imagination growing up in Ireland, and recently it has taken on new meaning for me. I feel that she is something freeing that drives connection with others.” Sean McGirr This collection embodies the Banshee. The sharp, twisty tailoring and breathtaking fabrics, including gossamer lace, pleated chiffon, silk crepon, and torn silk organza, are all hand-crafted with attention to detail. The color palette is ivory, silver gray, and black with accents of yellow and orange, projecting a balance between strength and fragility. The accessories are sculptural and inspired by various objects from Banshee lore.

Her lyrics are of a literary quality, packaged in siren-sweet vocals over dog barks, fierce guitar riffs, and out-of-kilter grooves.
