(Kamigaya-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City), an Enshu textile brand, is hosting Arco & Peace Kenta Sakai and others as personalitiesSBS Radio for those who have free time on Sundays. We have started accepting orders for collaboration bags with Nun Nun Noon! (live broadcast every Sunday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm). This is our first joint project with SBS Radio (Shizuoka Broadcasting Co., Ltd.), a program that
sympathizes with the spread of Enshu textiles, and leverages the strengths of radio to incorporate two-way communication with listeners, such as “live broadcast planning meetings” and “listener monitor projects,” which are reflected in the bag’s design,
specifications, and colors. The project has been in progress since November last year, and we also conducted a live radio broadcast from Kaneta Orimono, which weaves the fabric. The fabric used here is woven by Kaneta Orimono, a weaving factory in Kakegawa City, and dyed by Ivan, a dyeing factory in Hamamatsu City. We will communicate the charm of Enshu textiles to listeners inside and outside the
prefecture.

The personalities will be Kenta Sakai from the comedy duo Arco & Peace, and SBS announcers Mako Sugimoto and Yuki Takizawa. This spring will mark the fourth year of the program, with the slogan “Not educational but entertaining radio.” ■Apparel from Enshu region [HUIS -House-] HUIS is a locally produced apparel brand that was started in 2014 by Masaki and Ayumi Matsushita as a brand that uses Enshu Orimono, a traditional fabric known as a high-quality apparel fabric. Taking advantage of the Enshu production area, where old-fashioned shuttle looms still exist, the company manufactures products that focus on fabrics with a special texture and functionality produced by shuttle looms, and has gained fans all over the country.
