Press release: March 4, 2025 Notice of discovery of misconduct by a former employee of our company Important notice regarding discovery of fraud We would like to inform you that our company, Belletia Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), has discovered that a former employee, Tsubasa Natori (born May 28, 1980, from Yamanashi Prefecture) (hereinafter referred to as “the former employee”), has committed misconduct. We take this matter seriously and are currently conducting an internal investigation, as well as coordinating with relevant organizations and police stations to take necessary measures. 1. Overview of fraud In June 2024, we discovered a large discrepancy between our managed inventory and actual inventory, and conducted an internal
investigation. As a result, it was confirmed that from June 2021 to June 2024, a former employee (Tsubasa Natori) took over 10,000 pieces of our company’s products without permission and sold them through a flea market site, making illegal profits. As a result, our company has been found to have suffered damage of at least approximately 56.1 million yen. 2. Responses so far The former employee was dismissed as of July 10, 2024. We are currently conducting a follow-up
investigation into the products that were sold illegally. We are conducting re-inspections to gain a detailed understanding of the damage situation and strengthen our internal management system. 3. Future measures We are considering legal action, including criminal prosecution. We are currently discussing countermeasures for customers who may have been affected. As a measure to prevent recurrence, we are strengthening our internal inventory management system and reviewing our checking functions. We sincerely apologize to our customers, business partners, and other related parties for the great deal of inconvenience and concern this has caused.
