ultimateness. FF16 Character Design Kazuya Takahashi Comments When it comes to Final Fantasy, pure white is the origin for me. Inevitably, the only color available for this special model was white. On top of that white, the “Flame Summon Ifrit”, “Phoenix of Resurrection and Protection”, and “Bahamut, the Symbol of Power” are layered and integrated. This idea was inspired by the three characters fighting together in the final battle, as well as the image of Bahamut taking off with them. The moon’s satellite Metia, the red wishing star that appears in the story, is modeled on the tourbillon as the moon, and is placed next to it as if watching over it. *The tourbillon model is currently in production using the highest level of technology and craftsmanship. I realized that I could design art very freely and boldly. I laid this out so that it overlapped with the profile of the summoned beast, and tried to recreate the image of a “dragon with huge wings spread” as a whole. Also, above her head is a flying dragon grass, the flower that Dion wore on his chest in the movie. The main color is a combination of Bahamut’s green and the golden color of a powerful transformation. I tried adjusting this so that it stands out in Dion’s image color “white”.
