Used denim is collected and washed, metal fittings and patches are removed and disassembled by hand, and the usable parts are sorted and cut into small pieces, before being reborn into new yarn at our own spinning factory in Nagano Prefecture. The finished thread is knitted into fabric using an old-style loop knitting machine that only exists in Wakayama Prefecture, and then sewn into a “MADE IN JAPAN” DENIM MIX T-shirt. This product is most attractive because of its rich expression, such as the bluish marbling that can only be experienced with this fabric, and the denim pieces that appear like naps here and there.
