Through this collection, we aim to combine golf culture and American college style and provide an opportunity for more golfers to get to know Rosasen. ■Background of collaboration The main point behind this initiative was to “integrate with golf culture” by presenting a collection with two highly recognized universities. YALE University is a university with a deep-rooted golf culture, including a prestigious golf course on campus, and has a high affinity with Rosasen’s golf style. HAWAII University, on the other hand, is located in an environment steeped in surf and golf culture, which fits perfectly with Rosasen’s Californian lifestyle. By choosing these two universities, we will provide an opportunity for more people to experience Rosasen’s “free and sophisticated golf and casual style.” This project was launched with the hope of attracting new golfers and increasing brand recognition among non-golfers in Japan by adding American casual elements from each university to the casual styling proposed by Rosasen. ■Rosasen YALE University custom-made products Design expressing “tradition” and “freedom” Using the traditional logos of each university, we created a design that expresses “tradition” and “freedom.” In line with Rosasen’s season theme, “HERITECH”, which combines universal design (Heritage) with technology, it creates a sense of heritage by making use of functional materials and creating a scratchy print.
