A.P.C. SECTION MUSICALE was established by Jean Touitou in 1999 as the music department of A.P.C. A.P.C. has a studio in his atelier, where he has been visited by friends as diverse as Sofia Coppola, Martine Sitbon, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and has released a wide range of music-oriented unfinished works recorded there, as well as CDs/VINYL in a wide range of fields, from punk jazz, dub, hip-hop to Cuban music. Regarding the relationship between fashion and music, Jean Touitou says, “For me, the relationship between fashion and music is an illusion.
