Konaka Press release: April 16, 2025 Due to the popularity of collaboration T-shirts with “Chocolab” artists, the second art is now available! “Konaka supports overflowing talent that envisions the future” “Konaka Futata”, developed by Konaka Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Kensuke Konaka), is “Shoco” operated by AOH, a general
incorporated association of welfare businesses headquartered in Yokohama City. From November 2022, we will be selling T-shirts in collaboration with artists from “Labo” at our stores and Konaka Futata’s official online shop, with a portion of the proceeds going back to supporting the development of artists with disabilities. In order to respond to the requests of many customers who have purchased “Chocolab” collaboration T-shirts and to further expand support for artists with disabilities, we have decided to add new art and release it from April 2025.

We have received many requests from customers who wish to purchase additional items, so we have decided to add 13 art T-shirts. We have also received the cooperation of illustrator Mayu Mizuno, who is participating as a guest artist. We are evolving to produce products that are SDGS-friendly, such as reusing waste materials generated during the production of sweets for art production. ■[Example of work] Title “Chocolab Tree” This is an ethical
collaborative art piece created using cacao bean husks, a
collaboration between approximately 40 people with disabilities who work at Chocolab. The leaves of the tree were drawn with each child’s feelings, using their favorite colors.

In addition, since 2020, we have been holding a mother and child exhibition, “Tabitabi’s Journey,” at the Chocolatbo main store.

At Chocolab, a Type B welfare facility that supports continued employment, operated by AOH, a general incorporated association, approximately 40 people with disability certificates work hard every day to manufacture and sell chocolate sweets and other products, making use of their strengths. Chocolabo’s handcrafted sweets are made from carefully selected ingredients, and each one shows the individuality of the maker.
