We will be releasing a Japan-only collection in collaboration with Shingo Nagasaka, a one-of-a-kind artist who continues to create art using waste dumped by developed countries and loves the slums of Ghana. This collection will go on sale in advance at a limited-time pop-up store held on the 1st floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store from April 23rd, and will also be available at Furla stores and official online stores nationwide from April 30th. In this collaboration, we will select from Nagasaka’s representative works that are creative and have a strong message A spring-like tote bag featuring three artworks and a combination of canvas and leather. It is printed on cotton shopping bags. The brand’s first lifestyle category T-shirts will also be available. Ghana’s slums During his visit, Mr. Nagasaka met people who make a living by burning electronic devices discarded by developed countries.Since then, he has been creating works using waste materials, and through the sales of these works he has boldly worked to eradicate slums in Ghana and tackle local environmental issues I’m here.
