accessories. We will open a pop-up shop for “Yosegi” which will be updated to. This is our first real sales store. What is “Yosegi” We have updated the traditional Japanese craft, “Hakone Marquetry,” into modern, stylish practical items such as interior decorations, accessories, and musical instruments. The idea was created by a Spanish guitar enthusiast who visited the brand owner when he was running a guest house in Hakone, registered a utility model, and began manufacturing guitars and ukuleles on an OEM basis under the brand name “Yosegi Music.” The owner has evolved the beauty of Hakone Yosegi Zaiku not only into musical instruments, but also into stylishly designed practical items such as furniture and accessories. Parquet Interior is a special area where only brands with outstanding concepts and designs are allowed to exhibit at MAISON & OBJET, one of the world’s largest international lifestyle trade fairs, also known as the “Paris Collection of Interiors.” We have received the honor of being selected for 2 consecutive years since our first exhibition in 2023 at “Signature.” “ Yosegi’s first physical store sale “Yosegi” interiors have been exhibited at international trade fairs such as “Maison Éobjet” in Paris and “Ambiente” in Frankfurt, and its accessories have been selected as hometown tax return gifts by the town of Hakone, and are featured on various e-commerce sites both domestically and internationally.
