From Sunday, May 4, 2025 (Star Wars Day), limited sales will be held at WIND AND SEA Official Online Store and directly managed stores. This collection features the origin of the movie “Star Wars” directed and written by George Lucas Focusing on the original trilogy (Episode 4 “A New Hope”, Episode 5 “The Empire Strikes Back”, Episode 6 “Return of the Jedi”). The charm of the original trilogy released from 1977 to 1983 is reinterpreted from a unique WIND AND SEA perspective. Using familiar characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, and C3-PO, as well as iconic motifs such as the X-Wing, our theme is not just to develop merchandise based on characters, but to revive the atmosphere of the 70s and 80s in the modern era. In order to convey the enthusiasm of the time, we created a design based on motifs of posters and figure packages from the time of the movie’s release in theaters, documentary photos from the shooting site, and character expressions based on pop art interpretations, collector’s items that still command high prices on the vintage market. —We dug up these “records” and “memories” and reconstructed them as a product. It not only appeals to fans, but also makes it easy to incorporate into everyday fashion. Please enjoy this original collection that will draw you into the Star Wars story.
