This unique pop-up at The A will give visitors the opportunity to witness the artistry and innovation of Nude from May 1st to May 11th, 2025. “Art of the Nude” celebrates the innovative designs that have broken the mold of jewelry since its debut in 2001. “Nude” perfectly represents the fusion of Pomellato’s goldsmithing skills and gemological vision. More than just a jewelry collection, each “nude” piece is a miniature masterpiece at the intersection of multiple artistic expressions. Its art as design is expressed through pure, essential lines that have transformed the concept of solitaire. Art as craftsmanship is revealed in the expert hands of Casa Pomellato’s goldsmiths in Milan, who transform the stones into an innovative “nude” setting in which the gemstones appear to float on top of the gold. Art as cutting is manifested in the Maison’s signature 57 irregular facets, giving each gemstone a unique and irreproducible personality. The art of gem selection is expertly interpreted by gem masters who scour the world for the most
exceptional stones in terms of color, personality and properties. And finally, art as interpretation belongs to the Pomellato woman, where each “nude” piece of jewelry becomes an expression of each woman’s individuality. The event begins with Pomellato’s signature
Montenapoleone red entrance and continues into a space transformed by dreamy Milanese design. There, creativity flourishes through organic architectural elements and color expressions. The exhibits at the venue are spread out in three different zones, starting a fascinating journey through the world of Pomellato. The first zone tells the story of the Maison’s rich heritage and showcases the exceptional
craftsmanship that creates each piece of jewelry at Casa Pomellato in Milan, where over 100 master artisans create each piece. From there, the exhibition flows into two spaces dedicated to the ‘Nude’ collection, highlighting different aspects of the iconic design through captivating campaign images. The space features a dreamy blue structure that evokes the luminous color of London Blue Topaz, with ‘nude’ transparency and unique silhouettes felt throughout the space. Pomellato’s exquisite Italian craftsmanship is revealed in a captivating display of the evolution of the nude. From the first bold rings to today’s spectrum of vibrant gemstones, from playful double-sided cuts to spectacular ‘nude’ pieces in our high jewelery collections.
