Ground Y opened a new store on the second floor of E SKY MALL, a large commercial facility in Kaohsiung, a city in southern Taiwan, on Thursday, June 19, 2025. This store will be the brand’s second store in Taiwan, following the Ground Y Taiwan Taipei Breeze XinYi store, which opened in Taipei’s Xinyi District in 2023, and will bring a new visual experience to Kaohsiung through a space that embodies the brand’s aesthetic. The design of the new store is inspired by the large-scale production and construction culture of southern Taiwan, such as the shipbuilding and steelmaking industries. In the center of the store, a pillar made of heavy grayish black metal is placed, leaning asymmetrically. The contrast with the pure white tile wall creates a symbolic presence.
