(Head office: Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture; President and CEO: Daiji Tamakura), has signed a sustainability partnership agreement with Honda Mobility Land Co., Ltd. Going forward, the two companies will work together to achieve carbon neutral and sustainable operations at the Suzuka Circuit (Mie Prefecture) operated by Honda Mobility Land, in collaboration with P-FACTS, an apparel recycling infrastructure promoted by Piclex. As the first step of this initiative, we will provide polo shirts and T-shirts compatible with P-FACTS as staff wear at the “Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race” to be held from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025.

In particular, for the “Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race,” about 1,000 pieces of staff uniform are produced every year, but due to the nature of the design, which features the year of the event and the sponsor’s name, there were issues with reusing them after the event. In light of this situation, from the 2025 tournament, staff wear compatible with P-FACTS, an apparel recycling
infrastructure promoted by Pieclex, will be introduced. After the tournament, the P-FACTS system will be used to collect, separate, and compost the waste, and the compost will be used for greening and planting within the circuit and for agriculture in the surrounding area, aiming to create a new “cycle.” In addition, the use of P-FACTS-compatible materials will also help reduce CO2 emissions*1. ※1. The 2024 event recorded a total of approximately 56,000 visitors over the three days. Starting this year, we will provide a total of about 1,000 polo shirts and T-shirts that are compatible with “P-FACTS” using Pieclex, a plant-based “electric fiber,” as uniforms to be worn by the many staff members involved in the operation of this event.
