Starting with THE STAND Toranomon, a pop-up caravan will also be held to visit JOURNAL STANDARD Kyoto and Futakotamagawa stores. byeA. is a project by Haruki Ishiguro, who was an assistant buyer at L’ECHOPPE and is now a freelance director. This capsule collection is a collaboration with contemporary artist Ken Kagami. The three items, “The Noisy Tee,” “The Overly Persistent Bag,” and “The Overly Explaining Cap,” are humorous and sarcastic, from the item names to the designs. The two colors exclusive to THE STAND are brown, which gives a sense of texture and depth, and orange, which transforms the summery vibe into a playful one. Each piece combines byeA.’s unique perspective with Ken Kagami’s sarcastic humor.
