The “MRG-B5000HT” we are introducing this time adopts a square form inherited from the first “G-SHOCK” model, and by applying hammering techniques created by artisans to the bezel and band, it is a shock-resistant watch that expresses beauty in its solidity. Hammering craftsman Kazuya Watanabe carved a three-dimensional hammer pattern into the bezel and band one by one by hand using the titanium alloy “DAT55G *2” developed in Japan, which is about three times harder than pure titanium. The carefully hammered hammering creates a unique and delicate expression depending on the tip shape of the chisel and the strength of the hammer. The case is made of DLC processing to express the color of Oborogin, a silver-gray color with a unique luster used in sword fittings and accessories.
