Baroque Japan Limited (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroyuki Murai) is pleased to announce the full-scale launch of “MUS” (hereinafter referred to as “MUS”), and will be pre-selling the “Disney SERIES CREATED by MUS” DEBUT COLLECTION at “Disney THE MARKET in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store,” which will be held from Wednesday, August 6th to Sunday, August 17th, 2025. In addition, select items from the “Disney SERIES CREATED by MUS” DEBUT COLLECTION will be available for pre-sale at MOUSSY LaLaport Yokohama, LaLaport TOKYO-BAY, LaLaport EXPOCITY, and Lazona Kawasaki Plaza. DEBUT COLLECTION: 4 special series 【IDOL&FUN】/【MAGIC 4U】/【ALPHABET SERIES】/【GLITTER SERIES】 The collection will be centered around four series. The collection incorporates a generous amount of the ideas and techniques cultivated over the years, including original art by Disney SERIES CREATED by MUS, retro art carefully selected from precious archives, and semi-three-dimensional characters lavishly decorated with rhinestones. Idol Minnie Mouse shows off her singing and dancing talents on a sparkling stage. Mickey Mouse, dressed to the nines to show his support, sends the loudest cheers of anyone. Minnie gives her all in her performance, responding to the crowd’s expectations. The bond and energy between these two characters has been depicted in this dynamic, original art. The “FUN” in the title “IDOL&FUN” contains a deeper message that goes beyond simply “FAN.” Like Mickey Mouse in this design concept, the purest form of a “fan” is to support their fans wholeheartedly and “enjoy” the moment. This expresses the desire to elevate the time spent together into the ultimate “FUN” experience. This passionate art is incorporated into a total of 10 items, including a long-sleeved T-shirt with a layered mesh design, a crewneck sweatshirt that can be worn either front or back, a tote bag, acrylic key chains, stickers, and a cute, retro two-way bag made of sequined fabric. Additionally, Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd. has commissioned the production of mascot key chains and stuffed toys, which are special items that maximize the appeal of the original art, as if they have jumped out of the artwork. This Disney SERIES CREATED by MUS original illustration of Mickey Mouse, the sorcerer’s apprentice, captures him from a perspective that seems enchanted, creating a charming and adorable piece of art that seems to cast a spell on everyone who sees him! This T-shirt, designed to look like it’s emanating magic, features a texture and print that makes it look like it was unearthed at a thrift store. A total of six items are available, including a knit vest with meticulous attention to detail, acrylic key chains, and acrylic stands. Then, we commissioned Sekiguchi Co., Ltd., a long-established company that has been making stuffed animals since 1918, to create the figures. They recreated the poses in the original artwork and selected each and every fabric. Through repeated trial and error, we
collaborated to create the figures, striving for originality. The face and hands have been specially crafted from soft vinyl, and a core has been inserted to create a framework, allowing for free posing. A special plush toy with a cute, retro feel befitting the 85th anniversary of “Fantasia,” as well as a second mascot will be released, updated with a glossy fabric for even more cuteness than the previous version. 【About Sekiguchi Co., Ltd.】 A Japanese manufacturing company that plans, produces, and sells character products such as dolls and stuffed animals. In 1918, Sekiguchi Celluloid Processing Plant was established and began manufacturing celluloid dolls.
