Now, together with leading European sneaker and lifestyle retailer AFEW Store, they are releasing a collaborative model that redefines walking as not just a part of everyday life, but as a conscious, meditative act. The two companies’ shared goal in this collaboration is to propose a new walking experience that not only helps you reach your destination, but also allows you to feel the present and reflect on the past. The base model for this collaboration is the “UNEEK WK,” which combines the innovative UNEEK, a shoe with a cord upper, with the KEEN.CARVE curved sole unit. The shoe redefines walking and invites the wearer on a journey that celebrates “conscious movement.” The message, “Past Forward,” calls for a renewed appreciation of the value of stopping and the importance of “slowing down” in a hectic world.

Mute colors and a seamless rubber mudguard create a clean, outdoor-inspired finish. Details like tassels and ribbed lace tips evoke the meditative act, adding depth and symbolism to the design. The UNEEK WK by KEEN × AFEW Store will be available for purchase from August 2nd at the official KEEN online store (https://www.keenfootwear.jp) and KEEN retail stores.
