This T-shirt was created in honor of Mountain Day on August 11th, with the hope that it will inspire all mountain lovers to reflect on their connection with nature. This year, we collaborated with nature-loving artist Dean Aizawa. Dean Aizawa’s illustrations, based on the theme of “Living with the Mountains,” capture the playful and adventurous spirit of the West Coast. Graphics are printed on the front and back of T-shirts. In terms of functionality, it boasts high moisture absorption, quick-drying properties, and durability. Made with “DELTA,” a thick, abrasion-resistant polyester knit material. It prevents unpleasant stickiness even when you sweat. Graduated from the San Francisco Academy of Art University’s Fine Art Painting Department in 2016. While working as an artist, he also works as an illustrator and graphic designer. Currently, he works across a wide range of genres, including advertising, magazines, websites, and product packaging. He creates visuals for a variety of clients and projects. Comment from Dean Aizawa This design captures the playful and adventurous spirit of the West Coast. I used a variety of techniques to depict mountain landscapes, expressing a free and adventurous spirit. I experimented with different techniques, including realistic depictions, pointillism, and abstract approaches. Just as mountain climbing itself is an adventure, the design reflects that spirit of exploration. Hikers are “adventurers” who venture into these mountains.
