Gramicci Gramicci was born in a small garage in California in 1982. Yosemite National Park, located in central California, USA, is a mecca for rock climbers. Gramicci was born in Yosemite. In the 1970s, Mike Graham, a rock climber known in the United States as the “Stone Master” and a leader in Yosemite rock climbing, developed
groundbreaking details not found in climbing wear at the time, such as the “gusset crotch” that allowed for a natural 180-degree leg spread and the “webbing belt” that could be adjusted with one hand. In 1982, Gramicci’s climbing pants, incorporating these unique techniques and functions, were born in a small garage in California.
