(Head Office: Kobe City, Representative Director and President Executive Officer: Nobuteru Suzuki) will officially participate as a supporting company in the “Orizuru Project 2025”, which will be implemented in
preparation for the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing on August 6, 2025. “Orizuru Project 2025” is an activity to donate orizuru (orizuru) with wishes for peace to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and its purpose is to send a message of peace from Hiroshima to the world. This project started in 2022 and has received support from many participants so far. 2025 is an important milestone as it marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing, and together with our users and supporting companies and organizations, we aim to pass on even more wishes for peace to the future. World Co., Ltd., which has been chosen as a sponsor, will provide support in a variety of ways, including production cooperation for Orizuru and project

We would also like to ask for the cooperation of the children and their families who will be participating in the World Group’s “SDGs Workshop*.” By incorporating the thoughts of diverse people into orizuru, the project will expand to further raise peace awareness. *“SDGs Workshop” Workshops using leftover fabrics and yarn from our own factories will be held at World Group stores and facilities operated by local governments nationwide We are confident that with World’s sponsorship, we will be able to deliver the message of peace to even more people. “Orizuru WORKSHOP” event information Participation is free and no advance reservations are required.
