The Maison, which has been an official partner of the festival since 1998 and a Palme d’Or artisan, will present 78 high jewelery creations at this year’s festival, inspired by flowers, animals, couture, gems, space and the heart, with unique and bold designs backed by exceptional craftsmanship. In 2007, Caroline Scheufele presented the Red Carpet Collection of high jewelery to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. “From the outset, we wanted the Red Carpet Collection to include as many high jewelery creations each year as there are years of festivals,” says Caroline Scheufele. “This is a collection that would highlight the stars who ascend Cannes’ famous staircase and pay homage to Chopard’s reputation as the Red Carpet Jeweller.” Image

The art of jewelry reflects my personal journey and universal emotions.” Deep love for animals Caroline lives surrounded by many dogs. In 2010, to celebrate Chopard’s 150th anniversary, she presented Animal World, a spectacular high jewelery collection consisting of 150 pieces dedicated to animals. 15 years later, a ring with the motif of Byron, her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who became the mascot of the Cannes Film Festival, is now available. A stunningly realistic creation encrusted with white, black and cognac colored diamonds. Continuing the collection’s celebration of the animal kingdom, the curved hippopotamus ring is encrusted with gray diamonds and garnets for an irresistible cuteness.
