Loro Piana’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection explores the world of equestrianism to rediscover “The Way We Were.” It is more than just nostalgia, it reaffirms Loro Piana’s values ​​of permanence. The journey begins in Argentina, passes through the Scottish Highlands, and ends in the land of merino wool and the vast landscapes of New Zealand and Australia. This connection is deep and encompasses materials, lifestyles, and even the way we dress as a way of life. According to Sergio Loro Piana, equestrianism is a school of life that teaches respect for animals, patience and discipline – words that the Maison holds dear. Ladies collection The women’s collection features a wide range of styles that follow an organic, enveloping flow of lines, colors and textures. Harmony is a pillar of Loro Piana, expressed through volume that follows the movement of the body. The pant skirt uses thoughtful and functional details from horseback riding and depicts a uniquely Argentinian silhouette, creating a new look for both pants and skirts. All of this is combined with another signature, ladylike taste, which this season is concentrated in bouclé fabrics and watercolor colors. Cheviot, cashmere, abaca, silk, cash melton and merino wool meld into a richly textured fusion of color and texture, with earthy, natural tones of dark brandy, vintage brown, creamy vanilla, creamy cashmere, dark maple leaf, tundra soil, vicuña, deep oak, navy blue and black. The iconic Spagna Jacket has reaffirmed its status as a versatile icon, now available in a short cropped version or as a knee-length pencil coat. Mannish tailoring is always present, with homages to the Argentine and Scottish countryside expressed in the silhouettes of long skirts, cropped or quilted jackets and caps. Ensembles are created by layering similar shades of light and shade to create gradations, and by combining Carterra Inglese with various masculine patterns in similar hues. The way we wear knitwear is another expression of this enveloping mindset, with an emphasis on texture to create a sense of comfort. Loro Piana’s signature flow continues in its most sophisticated eveningwear, extending seasonal themes and silhouettes into an evening interpretation, with the sparkle and unique atmosphere of a night at the Opera. Hats complete the message with wide or short-brimmed versions, shoes are flat and narrow, and riding boots take center stage this season. For evening, silk satin, jacquard silk and charmeuse are featured in classic shades of black and white. Rubber boots with Loro Piana lining and details were developed in collaboration with traditional boot manufacturer Le Chameau. Enamel, leather and metal jewelry add understated sparkle with geometric shapes and new charms. The statement sunglasses have an oversized shape, and the belt is accented with a slim, sleek design buckle. The leather goods are available in buttery soft leather and collection-matching fabric versions, including the new Extra Back L23, a smaller version of the original design. Another new style is the Needle Bag, inspired by the bags used to carry knitting needles, combining softness and structure in a sleek shape. The iconic Loom Bag is available this season in nubuck Gibelline, Cash Tweed and Pecolanella®, with a look and feel inspired by Loro Piana’s Gibelline fabric, and embellished with guilloché charms. Introducing Royal Lightness, a new excellence with rare lightness and lustrous beauty Continuing its search for uniqueness in the world of textiles, Loro Piana presents Royal Lightness, a new excellence that embodies absolute lightness, subtle luster and exceptional touch. Royal Lightness is a blend of silk and merino wool, as well as a blend of silk and cashmere. They were developed in-house by a dedicated team after two years of extensive research and a meticulous process at the Maison’s state-of-the-art facilities, Rocca Pietra and Quarona in Italy. Achieving new heights of delicacy, Royal Lightness yarns are so thin that they are nearly impossible to knit without Loro Piana’s unparalleled expertise and deep textile knowledge. This season, with a particularly relaxed and voluminous feel, the iconic Spagna jacket is transformed into a short cape, taking on new proportions. The colors and textures are harmonious and composed of cheviot, cashmere, cash melton and merino wool in natural shades of green haze mélange, fancy Gareth Visso, espresso, navy blue, gray mélange, fondue fudge and black. Loose tailored pants are tucked into the boots to accentuate the unique silhouette. The traditional Maremma jacket, made of cotton and cashmere, is back for the first time in several seasons and is in harmony with the spirit of equestrianism. This is emphasized by technical items such as blazers and pants for actual competitions. Loro Piana’s image of a man is an outdoorsy person who enjoys being in contact with nature. This is reflected in quilted hunting jackets and outdoor parkas. The soft formal feel also offers a unique approach to dressing without formality. It is characterized by soft tailored double-breasted suits and loose overcoats. Introducing the unique Carterra Inglese, which combines different masculine patterns in similar colors. Flavor and elegance are also reflected in the Vienna and Ballater jackets, which are exquisite yet practical and relaxed. Similar ideas of relaxation, fostered by the culture, are carried over into evening wear, with the glow, atmosphere and relaxation of a night at the Opera.
