To commemorate the opening, in addition to pre-sale in Japan of a collaboration collection with artist Petra Borner, we are also preparing original fabric bags as a novelty item exclusive to the Hibiya store. Hibiya store pre-sale “Marimekko Artist Series: Petra Bohner” The Marimekko Artist Series collaborates with up-and-coming artists and well-known artists to develop special Marimekko capsule collections. This spring, we are introducing a collaborative collection with Swedish-born, London-based artist Petra Boerner. Her artwork, which utilizes her unique line drawings and vibrant colors, is transformed into wearable art at Marimekko’s print factory. To commemorate the opening of the Hibiya store, we will be pre-selling the wear items from this capsule collection, which will be on sale at Marimekko stores and online stores from March 21st (Friday).
