Press release: March 13, 2025 X-girl will continue to sponsor the “National High School Dance Club BASIC Improvement WS Tour” in 2025 Established in 1994 by Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and her friend Daisy Von Furth, X-girl is a women’s streetwear brand that has continued to offer basic, timeless items under the theme of “REAL GIRL’S CLOTHING” since its founding. X-girl will continue to participate as a special sponsor in 2025 of the “National High School Dance Club BASIC Improvement WS Tour,” which we have been supporting since 2023. This tour is a workshop jointly held by Omorei Co., Ltd. and dance education advisor JUNYA aka. Kuma POO for high school dance clubs across the country. In 2024, 2,584 high school students (as of the end of February) from 88 schools across the country from Hokkaido to Okinawa participated and worked to improve their dance skills. This year’s theme is “Effective Body Control,” and the program has evolved into a more practical and fun way to improve your basics. Additionally, we have DOMINIQUE, a big name in the HIPHOP dance world, supervising the event, and the content is even more focused on improving BASIC than last year. X-girl will support this tour to support high school students who are working hard on dance. In addition, everyone who participated in the workshop will receive an original X-girl sticker.
