Keep It Gucci: The Art of Silk is a new advertising campaign that pays homage to Gucci’s legacy of silk scarves, rooted in craftsmanship, and celebrates their timeless appeal. Photographer Steven Meisel’s lens depicts the mysterious atmosphere, supple movements, and fascinating worldview of actor Julia Garner and Gucci silk scarves as a visual story. The world where light and shadow intersect in perfect balance, set against the backdrop of a city night illuminated by shining streetlights, is like a scene from a movie. And in a fleeting yet beautiful moment, silk is no longer just a scarf, but sublimates into a medium of self-expression, sensitively sensing the rhythm of the wearer. The campaign features the Flora print scarf, designed in 1966 by Italian artist and illustrator Vittorio Accornero de Testa. This print, which depicts a bouquet of seasonal flowers with a delicate and precise touch, continues to be a symbol of elegance and has a timeless appeal. Wrapped around the neck, tied as a headscarf, or worn as a movement or blowing in the wind, Gucci silk scarves continue to embody Gucci’s timeless aesthetic with a contemporary sensibility. This advertising campaign is part of “The Art of Silk,” an initiative that explores the history of Gucci’s proud silk craftsmanship and its advanced and innovative expressive power of beauty from various angles. The initiative will also include the art project “90 x 90,” in which nine international artists reinterpret five motifs rooted in Gucci’s archives: Flora, Animalier, Nautical, Equestrian, and the GG pattern. In addition, Gucci is collaborating with Assuline to publish Gucci: The Art of Silk, an art book that traces the evolution of Gucci’s silk scarves from the 1950s to the present day and their influence on fashion and art. GUCCI Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci is one of the world’s leading luxury fashion brands. After the brand’s 100th anniversary, Gucci, under CEO Stefano Cantino, continues its journey to redefine luxury, celebrating creativity, Italian
craftsmanship and innovation. Gucci is part of Kering, a global luxury group with renowned brands in fashion, leather goods, jewelry and eyewear. For more information, please visit .
