In 2021, the “Avanti Cotton Club” was established to work on domestic cotton cultivation in collaboration with people all over the country, and is currently working hard to grow cotton with people at 37 bases across the country. Aiming to raise Japan’s textile self-sufficiency rate from zero to 1%, the aim is to use 2% of the cotton produced in this project in Pristine products by 2030, and to increase the usage rate of domestically produced cotton and recycled materials to 50% by 2050. “CoTToN BANK”, which is starting now, is also the fifth year of the “Domestic Cotton Revival Project”. Recognizing that each product we hold in our hands is connected to the future of the earth by suppressing climate change, we cultivate cotton while restoring the soil to a healthy soil based on the idea that “it all begins with the soil and then the seeds.” We create the clothes we wear, and the clothes that have no longer served can be recycled.
