We use 100% cotton grown in-house and spin it domestically to create our original yarns. We will be presenting genuine indigo-dyed denim made entirely in Japan, from growing domestic cotton to spinning, dyeing, and weaving. This work was created in collaboration with Aiya Terroir, which cultivates domestic indigo and dyes it in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, a denim-producing region, and Shinohara Textile, which produces high-quality denim. tamaki niime The original yarn is yarn-dyed, dyed in different shades at the yarn stage, warped on the west side, and woven at Shinohara Textile. All pieces are unique in the world, expressing the authentic denim texture and shading color scheme in large patterns typical of tamaki niime. The products will be sold at Tamaki Niime Okurimon, a directly managed store in Kamakura that will celebrate its first anniversary this year.
