establishment, CFCL is holding an exhibition entitled “CFCL: From Knitwear to Knit-ware” until April 28th (Monday) at GYRE GALLERY in Omotesando, Tokyo. This exhibition focuses on four aspects of CFCL’s daily exploration of 3D computer knitting technology, which is at the core of the brand. In addition to knit works created by Yusuke Takahashi, the representative and creative director who is the origin of CFCL, during his student days, an immersive video installation that depicts the various production processes from raw materials to garments on a large dual screen, documentary footage of the sample production process of the latest collection, and numerous knitted fabric samples, we will also be introducing photos from a portrait project taken by photographer Mikio Hasui, which has been going on since the brand’s founding, and episodes of encounters with guests.
