A complete lineup ranging from fashionable setups made with authentic materials to highly functional and sustainable items In addition to outdoor shoes, MERRELL is an American outdoor brand that has recently been focusing on developing clothing made from functional materials. From this company, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection of MERRELL JAPAN APPAREL, which was launched last year, will be released.
The theme of this season’s apparel collection is “SIGN POST”. Inspired by simple signs (tape, cairn, etc.) used in mountaineering
terminology, we have adopted “SIGN POCKET” on all but a few items as a detail that stands out both in function and design. This pocket, like a simple sign, functions as a guidepost that conveys safety and kindness, and we aim to establish it as MERRELL’s iconic design. The lineup includes a detachable blouson and pants set made from 60/40 cloth, a hoodie and vest made from stretch nylon material with a soft feel and functional details that give it a less gear-like feel, and a coverall that is an 80’s Mackino jacket updated with a crisp and firm feel. In addition, items that are useful in outdoor scenes are appearing one after another, such as shirts with a high UPF effect, base layers made from POLARTEC’s specialized material that absorbs and dries quickly, and message tees made from plant-based fibers. Each item will be sold sequentially fromMarch 14th (Friday)at directly managed stores in each region, centering on the brand’s largest flagship stores, MERRELL BRAND CENTER SHIBUYA (Shibuya Scramble Square), MERRELL HARAJUKU FLAGSHIP (Harajuku Store), and the MERRELL Official Online Store.
