Press release: April 10, 2025 Valextra Milano Salone 2025 "Vocabolario: 2.0" Announcement Valextra announced “Valextra Vocabolario: 2.0 Presenting Costa 70 Zaven” at Milano Salone 2025, a project following last year.

In 1954, Valextra was awarded the first Compasso d’Oro Award for its iconic 24-Hours briefcase for its functionality and supreme aesthetic value. Since then, the Valextra name has become synonymous with innovative luxury luggage. In 2008, Enrica Cavalzan and Marco Zavagno founded Zaven, an interdisciplinary creative studio that explores the interaction between communication, design and art. His intuitive approach to design has led to collaborations with prestigious companies such as the Venice Biennale, Palazzo Grassi/Pinaud Collection, and CC-Tapis. In 2024, he also won the Compasso d’Oro Award for the sofa “Za:Za” designed for Zanotta. For Salone del Milano 2025, Valextra and Zaven have specially collaborated to create the Costa 70 Zaven suitcase, a contemporary object of exceptional design, celebrating the common purpose of architectural
experimentation and the pursuit of interaction through composition.

Each part is assembled in an original way, and the final object reflects the individual interpretation and the lasting power of the touch of the hand. Dialogue between creators and curators is never easier to realize than through highly designed collaborative works like this.

Crafted from Valextra’s signature faceted Millepunte leather, it features a palladium metal handle with green and pink embossed resin and a pink and blue archival clasp.
